Welcome to the newest edition to our family Charlie The Cruiser.

We wanted to say THANK YOU for choosing to spend some time in our beloved Charlie & we hope you enjoy making memories with him.

Hi guys my name is Charlie

I’m so excited that we get to hang out together. We have put together some videos & other useful information below so you know the best way to look after me.

We would request that you watch all of the videos we have spent time putting together before you pick me up & we head off on our adventure together.

A Friendly reminder that off-road driving is NOT permitted for this hire unless pre-approved prior to hire. 

  

Please be mindful that you are a little taller with your bed on the roof, avoid areas where there is less than 2.4m clearance.

Please note pack it up at night as getting up at 2am when the wind is blowing to put it away really dosn’t make night time so FUN.

Your almost there last video and your fully prepared for that fast handover and exciting adventure.

Checklist for before lights out 

  • Turn all kitchen lights off.

  • All doors locked.

  • Awning packed away (so you are not woken by the wind in the early hours). This is a personal choice based on wind. If it's windy pack it up.

  • Zip up tent so you stay nice and cozy & bug free. 

Checklist for pack down before driving off

  • Make sure the ladder is packed away under the rooftop tent

  • Close up back kitchen area ensuring everything is in its place and secure. 

  • Put awning away including the bag of pegs!

  • Pack away rooftop tent, including all items removed and ensuring pillows are in place as per the video to make for a smooth closing of the latches. 

  • All 4 clips on rooftop tent locked in place

  • Ensure any loose items are stored away safely in storage boxes and draws

  • Walk 1 Lap of the outside of the cruiser (check for drying clothes, loose straps on the roof, any items left outside).

To ensure the return of Charlie is effortless for all, we ask you to do a few simple things before you bring him home. Please refer to the videos if you need a little reminder:

  • Fill up the fuel tank.

  • Sweep and vacuum the floor free from grass, sand & dirt. A Coin-operated vacuum at a service station is ideal for this.

  • Grab all your belongings from the various storage spaces, including the fridge & pantry areas.

  • Please return the vehicle just as you were given it.

Returning Charlie

If you opted for the "Clean For Me" option the below list does not apply, otherwise we require the below list to be completed before you drop Charlie off:

  • All Crockery, Cutlery & Pans Clean

  • Fridge Emptied & Wiped Down

  • All Pantry Draws Emptied & Wiped Down.

  • All Rubbish Removed
